CYMEDSEC MARKS PROGRESS AND EXPANDS AMBITIONS DURING DRESDEN GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The project consortium met in Dresden for its latest General Assembly, following a successful Review Meeting with the European Commission. The review confirmed that the project is progressing as planned and fully aligned with its objectives and expectations.

During the Assembly, each partner presented their past, present, and future activities, focusing on ongoing and upcoming tasks, challenges encountered, strategic decisions to be made, and the expected impact of their work. These exchanges allowed the consortium to strengthen coordination and ensure the project’s next steps continue to deliver tangible advances for cybersecurity in healthcare!

A key outcome of the meeting was the decision to expand the usability of the CYMEDSEC Toolbox, which will soon be made available online. This integrated tool is designed to support healthcare stakeholders in assessing and managing cybersecurity risks across medical device ecosystems.

With this milestone, the consortium also agreed to intensify dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring broader visibility and uptake of CYMEDSEC’s results within the European digital health community.
