ANNUAL CYMEDSEC CONSORTIUM GENERAL ASSEMBLY: ADVANCING CYBERSECURITY FOR CONNECTED MEDICAL DEVICES

On September 11th, the CYMEDSEC consortium gathered at the Technische Universität in Dresden (Germany) for the annual General Assembly to discuss the latest advancements in cybersecurity for connected medical devices.

During the annual consortium meeting in presence, CYMEDSEC partners discussed the latest advancement of the project, fostering the security in the Internet of Medical Things. Key updates included progress on securing device communication protocols, improving risk assessment methodologies, and strengthening industry standards for medical device cybersecurity. The meeting also featured collaborative insights from partners, focusing on upcoming challenges and potential innovations in safeguarding patient data and device integrity. This marks another step forward in reaching the goal of CYMEDSEC: empowering security in Europe’s digital healthcare systems.
